Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday everyone! 
My apologies for not blogging lately! I've been out of town and my little pink laptop only works when it wants too! 


Here are my Friday favorites! 



Favorite Trend: High waisted shorts; I'm IIN LOVE with high waisted shorts this year. I also like getting "mom jeans" and cutting them into shorts! 

Favorite Treat: rainbow cupcakes

Favorite Song: What Makes You Beautiful By: One Direction. Okay guys, I jumped on the bandwagon and I'm now a fan of One Direction! They are just too adorable not to love! 

Favorite Thing I Saw: Light Blue Convertible Bentley. Yes, this is my ULTIMATE dream car, and I saw one at the dry cleaners up here in Raleigh! 

Favorite Irish Saying:"Here's to you and yours, And to mine and ours, And if mine and ours ever come across you and yours, I hope you and yours will do as much for mine and ours and mine and ours have done for you and yours!"  This is such a tongue twister! Since tomorrow is Saint Patrick's Days and my dad's side of the family is Irish, I thought I'd share one of my favorite sayings!

Sunny Side Up

Happy Tuesday! This past weekend I took some pictures of some of my favorite outfits. 
One of this year's trends is bright colored pants. I think they just stand out really well in person and in photographs. 


Here, I thrifted these yellow high waisted pants, I got this tangerine shirt from TJ Maxx, and I got these Gianni Bini on sale at Dillard's. 


These bright colors look GREAT for Spring/Summer!

Sunday at the Lake!

Happy Monday everyone! 

Since yesterday was such a beautiful day, I decided to go to the lake with my mom!

I was feeling a little Patriotic so I wore a navy and white stripped dress (that I thrifted), red pumps (on sale!), and an off-white long sweater.

A POP of Color! (Red)

Happy Sunday everyone! 
Red can give any black outfit enough pop of color to look really good. 


I went to Dillard's the other day and got the cutest black and light tan zig-zag stripped shirt. I got it out of season for 11 bucks! It was such a bargain that I just had to get it. 
It's actually about 4 sizes too big, but I just put it on over some plan black tights and it looks just like a dress! 
I also went to Cato's and got red pumps on sale for 18 dollars. Which isn't a really good sale, but you can wear red shoes with just about anything neutral. 
I'm also wearing my gold spike earrings I got from Rue21.

Throw Back Thursday!!

I almost forgot that today is THROW BACK THURSDAY! 


Vintage, vintage, vintage, I'm all about the vintage. 80s style has got to be my favorite! 
Today, I was doing some thrift store shopping and I found this vintage red military jacket and I just have to share with you!

Mint Sorbet

The color mint is very popular this year. I love how its not too much green and not too light. It's the perfect shade. 

I wore this mint blazer in a pageant with a white pencil shirt and hot pink heels.

Here I dressed it down a little and added skinny jeans with holes in them. Also, I added a over-sized day time clutch to top it off.
